Trowel Tips

Unlimited Trowel Works!

I am the bone of my showel...

So here is it finally. My website. What's all the fuss about trowels and Fate quotes? Well, quite simply, because I'm a "fake" archaeologist!
Actually, this is the way I see it through my "imposter syndrome" (as described in the wonderful book "Failing Gloriously" > should I rather link it to the concept?), with my (perhaps too): I'm charmed by the tool of the "trowel" as the symbol of this western academic discipline but I also have many other different interests which can't let me feel at ease by just doing "true archaeology" stuff.
I just can't.
As I'm just not able to sit in a corner and do nothing: it's both a blessing and a curse of course.
But in order to not paralyze in front of such a situation (I've been there and I'll visit again many times more) I'm learning how to appreciate this side of me, also thanks to the many things it led me to discover, one of the dearest to me being the "Fate" series. In particular, the concept of 'fake' and 'faker' in "Fate/Stay Night" was another symbol that casted my interest, as it was entangled with a character's development arch I so deeply felt close to at the time of watching this anime.
Yes, "it's an anime" I still feel the need to justify this in a way, but then I understand how pointless it is as to some other people I should rather say "it's THE anime, only": opposite sides of barricades existing in our limited minds only as both would apparently agree by saying "how could you be moved so hard by just that!?".
Thus one fair point is, I came to understand that the world is a complex mess, everyone at everytime is moved by different things and they shouldn't need to justify their feelings in any way.
It's just that for the rest of the world, it can be the same for me. As obvious as it is, it will take my entire life (and even more) to learn this.
